Every day, women in the Tassobon
village walk up to 20 minutes and wait up to 45 minutes at
the village’s only well, just for one bucket of water
to bring home. Time and energy spent getting water keeps them
from starting projects which could generate income for their
families.
For only $7,000 dollars the people of Tassobon can be provided
with additional wells, plus the molds and knowledge necessary
to build them. Something as basic as improved access to safe
